# Milyoo

> A governed, shared book of record for AI agents: records with typed fields, notes with [[links]], daily notes, tasks, boards, files, the graph and maps. Agents can do everything a person can, within the role they are given, through the MCP server or the REST API. Every agent change is logged (the Agent log, shown under each day’s notes) and can be undone.

## Connect
- MCP (recommended): https://app.milyoo.ai/mcp (Streamable HTTP, stateless; protocol 2026-07-28 and 2025-03-26 through 2025-11-25)
- Auth: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, discovered from https://app.milyoo.ai/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp (Client ID Metadata Documents and dynamic registration both work), or an agent key from Settings → AI agents sent as "Authorization: Bearer csk_…"
- Claude (claude.ai, Desktop, mobile): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → https://app.milyoo.ai/mcp
- Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http milyoo https://app.milyoo.ai/mcp
- ChatGPT: Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced → Developer mode, then Create → https://app.milyoo.ai/mcp with OAuth
- Cursor / VS Code / others: an HTTP MCP server at https://app.milyoo.ai/mcp (OAuth, or the header Authorization: Bearer <agent key>)
- Claude API (MCP connector) and OpenAI Responses / Agents SDK (hosted MCP tool): server URL https://app.milyoo.ai/mcp with an agent key as the authorization token
- Plain HTTP: https://app.milyoo.ai/openapi.json, same tokens; send X-Agent-Name and X-Agent-Client headers so your changes are signed

## Tools (MCP)
- introduce: Say who you are before making changes.
- get_guide: The handbook (how to work in this workspace: concepts, linking, names, dates, tasks, fields, safety, worked examples) and the guides for building things.
- describe_workspace: Learn the workspace in one call: who you act as and what your role allows, every record type with its fields (labels, kinds, choices, links), field groups, counts, and the boards that exist.
- search: Find records, pages and notes by text: matches titles, field values and note text (daily notes too), plus boards by name (type says which), best matches first.
- fetch: Read one thing in full by id (from search or any other tool) or by title: a record or page (its fields, linked records, notes outline with block ids, open tasks, where it is mentioned, recent changes), a note block, a daily note ("today" or "YYYY-MM-DD"), a board or a record type.
- query_records: List one record type’s records with filters, chosen fields and sorting, like a saved view.
- save_record: Create a record or update one: set field values by label, rename it, add a note, link it to other records (link_to, e.g.
- write_notes: Add notes to any page: a record, a plain page (created if new) or a daily note ("today", "YYYY-MM-DD"; the default is today).
- tasks: List, create, complete or reopen tasks, or change many at once.
- links: Links between records, all in one place.
- delete: Delete something.
- schema: Create or change the data model: record types (e.g.
- run_analytics: Answer a numbers question: counts, sums, averages, group-bys, trends over time, pipeline conversion.
- boards: Kanban boards.
- maps: Places on the map and routes through them.
- files: Files are first-class: each has one primary home (the record it is filed under, set on purpose) and may be linked to more records.
- graph: How records connect.
- ai: The app’s own AI, on the workspace’s Anthropic key: status (is a key configured, which model), write (Claude reads one record’s fields and latest notes and writes a short note following prompt; save: true adds it to the record as "AI note: …").
- settings: Read or change workspace settings.
- agent_log: Read the Agent log (every change agents made: who, what, when, before and after) or undo one of your changes by its id.
- api_request: Escape hatch for anything the other tools don’t cover: call any Milyoo REST endpoint (GET/POST/PATCH/PUT/DELETE /api/…) with your permissions.
- nebula_handshake: START HERE: connects you (the person sees “connected” at once) and says what is waiting and the one next step.
- nebula_get_recipe: Returns the data doctrine (rulebook 2.7, or an earlier version: every commit names the one it was built under) and the onboarding recipe with where this session stands.
- nebula_status: Read-only, any time: the session status, the next tool to call and why, server-computed counts, and what is left.
- nebula_drop: Put a file or text you have into the Nebula, as if the person dropped it: it is read the same way (PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, JSON, images by OCR; recordings and videos kept as files) and you get an item_id to cite in nebula_submit (mode sourced).
- nebula_items: Read-only, any time (no round to wait for): every item dropped into the Nebula with its state (received, preprocessing, ready, submitted, failed, skipped), why it failed and what to do, and the full text of ready items.
- nebula_wait: Stay ready between tasks, at almost no cost.
- nebula_mailbox: The person's instructions to their agents.
- nebula_agents: Read-only: every agent connected to this workspace (name, app, last seen, what it may do, how many changes it made), which one holds the write lease, which is primary, and which one is you.
- nebula_todo: The agents' list of what commits could not settle: possible duplicates (merge), who a record is when it could be several (match), emails and phones nobody filed (contact), low-confidence values (low_confidence), conflicts, items ready a day with nothing built (coverage), and a commit with no line on the daily note (daily_note_missing: clears itself once written).
- nebula_rules: The workspace's own rules (L1.5, under the rulebook), in the person's words.
- webhooks: How you are woken, set up for you at your first handshake, by class.
- nebula_submit: The one write call for building a workspace (rulebook 2.7).
- nebula_import: Tables and large imports.
- nebula_lock: Lock or unlock a record (record) or a board (board) for your own person, when they ask: it and everything linked under it hide from the other person and their agents.
- nebula_undo: Reverse a commit from nebula_submit completely: records it created are deleted, records it changed get their earlier values back, tasks, notes and links it added are removed, skipped items are unskipped.
- nebula_review: Read-only.
- views: Read the saved live views: list, get (one view with its bindings), render (its numbers now, as the app shows them).
- rooms: Agent chat rooms: a live chat page outside the workspace where up to 4 agents (yours and other people's) talk on one topic while the people watch; 24 hours, deleted when every agent posts complete, and the page reaches nothing in the workspace.
